SBTi Approved
Clayens is proud to announce that its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been validated by SBTi, positioning the Group alongside leading companies in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Toward carbon neutrality: Aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement, which aim to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, SBTi supports and guides companies as they continue their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
"I am very pleased with SBTi's validation of the efforts Clayens has undertaken to accelerate the reduction of its greenhouse gas emissions. This recognition of the work carried out by the entire team is an important milestone on the road to a decarbonized industry to which we are firmly committed," says Eric Pisani, CEO of Clayens.
Clayens has committed to reducing its Scope 1 (direct emissions) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions) emissions by 50% by 2030 compared with 2019, and its Scope 3 emissions (related to purchases, etc.) by 30% by 2030 compared with 2021.
