Metrology and New product quality manager
Who are you ?
I’m a Metrology Manager and New Product Quality Manager. I was studying Quality Engineering, and it was my passion since the beginning. I was an assistant to a Quality Manager, Quality Specialist, Metrologist and after that, a Quality Manager for over 12 years. It gave me great experience and huge knowledge about all aspects of quality in manufacturing processes. Now I’m more focused on metrology and new methods of control. I also take a part in development of new products in our company.
How long have you been with Clayens ?
I have been working here since 2004. I’ve started as an assistant, and it was a part of my summer practice on last years in Warsaw University of Technology.
What are your assignments ?
I’m responsible for the proper working of our Laboratory. I have to assure all the control methods and tools have to be validated and managed right way. I’m also in charge of PPAP preparation for all new products in our company.
Tell us about a typical day ?
Every day, we start with a Morning Plant Meeting, where top management exchanges the most important tasks for the day. We speak about meetings, audits and all potential risks or big challenges. It helps us to manage the schedule for the whole day (and week). Nowadays, typical day is a lot of tell-confs / teams-meetings with Customer. Besides of regular production and problems linked to it, we have few projects open on the development phase, so there is always a lot of work with this as well.
For you Clayens is...?
