Green energy for NP Polska

In January 2022, NP Polska switched to a green energy contract.

Approximately 80-85% of Polish electricity is produced from coal, making this electricity mix 11.5 times more CO2-intensive than France's, for example.

Certified ISO 14001:2015 since November 2021, NP Polska is pursuing a structured, consistent environmental approach, in line with the environmental strategy led by the CLAYENS group, which aims to decarbonize its plants by 2030.

NP Polska expects a 95% reduction in its carbon footprint for scope 1 and 2 emissions.

This represents a 13% gain for the Clayens group.

100% renewable electricity!

NP Polska's ambition, supported by PGE, the Polish leader in renewable energy.

"Safe future" PGE is committed to decarbonizing its energy and produces its electricity only in Poland, supporting local jobs.
