NP Plastibell expands its historical site in Izenore with a new ISO 7 are for the production of pharmaceutical primary packaging

NP Plastibell is expanding its facilities in Izernore (Ain) with the construction of a new ISO 7 area and a new analysis and testing laboratory. These investments further strengthen the company's positioning in the production of critical parts, including pharmaceutical packaging and medical devices.

For more than 30 years, NP Plastibell has specialized in the development and manufacturing of medical devices, and offers a wide range of services from design through to production of components and assembled devices.

 With this extension, NP Plastibell now has:

  • A new ISO7 cleanroom dedicated to complex manufacturing operations combining injection, assembly and specific processes. This manufacturing area includes in particular:
    • Robotic injection processes with processing of technical plastics
    • Assembly processes for elastomer components on plastic parts.
    • A unique, dedicated siliconizing process
    • A packaging process with contamination control to meet pharmacopoeia requirements
  • A dedicated healthcare laboratory for validating functional performance, enabling product development with test conditions close to the user experience and ensuring the product meets the end recipient's requirements.

This laboratory is also designed to eventually integrate other testing technologies related to healthcare, particularly issues linked to particulate contamination control on parts.

A PROJECT FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE

With this new production and testing capacity, NP Plastibell has the opportunity and resources to take on new projects in the pharmaceutical field and support its customers on the issues at the heart of their challenges.
