A solar power station in Clayens NP Morocco

In March, Clayens NP Morocco installed a photovoltaic solar plant covering its entire roof.
Made up of 560 photovoltaic panels and using 100% of the available space (2,612 m²), for self-consumption (electricity produced and used directly by Clayens NP Morocco), the plant has an output of 271.6 kWp.
Five 40 kVA inverters generate 400 MWh/year; to date Clayens NP Morocco consumes around 4,400 MWh/year. This production will cover 10% of the plant's consumption.
287.2 tCO2eq of carbon emissions avoided, a 9% reduction in the carbon footprint for Clayens NP Morocco.
This reduction contributes to a 1.4% decrease in the Clayens group's carbon footprint.
At a time when energy costs keep rising, Clayens NP Morocco is choosing to limit the impact of tariff increases and protect the environment!
The Moroccan government supports this type of investment to encourage companies to invest in renewable energy. Clayens NP Morocco received a state subsidy to build this plant.
