Clayens NP Sud, welcomes the sub-prefect of the Ardèche !

On Thursday 27 April 2023, Ms Isabelle ARRIGHI, Sub-Prefect of Ardeche, accompanied by Ms Karine TAKES, Mayor of Beauchastel and her deputies, and Mr Christian FEROUSSIER, Departmental Councillor for Ardeche, visited NP SUD, located in the Beauchastel business park.

A subsidiary of the CLAYENS Group, NP SUD employs 41 people. Founded in 1988, the company specializes in plastic injection molding of small, highly technical parts for the electrical, medical and aerospace markets, among others. The company produces approximately 200 million parts each year.

During the visit, Branch Director Mr Sebastien COISSIEUX explained to the elected officials how the injection process works, the specific features and constraints of plastic materials, and process improvements aimed at remaining competitive (robotization, working conditions, etc.). For several years, the site has taken steps to control its energy consumption. Discussions with the elected officials also covered recruitment; Ms Line CHAREYRE, HR Manager at the site, noted that the site is looking for candidates with a technical profile. The company first provides in-house training, then the employee receives training validated by a vocational qualification certificate (CQP).
